Dan Brown is one of my favourite author whose books has been the major reason of my addiction to books. Yes my first ever novel which I completely spent my time in reading is Dan Brown's "DIGITAL FORTRESS"and this book did not get its recognition for its awesome story line. After this I became more addicted to his books, but this addiction does not stop stop just with Dan Brown but also continued to other books and novels.
So my latest read was Dan Browns- Inferno. Ofcourse I did not get the book as soon as it released but I was completely patient and was waiting for the pocket money. As you might have gone through the reviews by legend readers, this is just a small review of his fan from India and that's me. So I read the reviews before I read the books, Just out of curiosity. As the reviews said the way the story moves is fast and it is completely based on symbols as the earlier Robert langdon series. But the actual thrill of the story starts from the last 50 chapters.
The beginning of the story is itself a mystery as Langdon wakes up in a hospital with no memory of his past and how he reached there. The story continues as he is companied by one of the doctor in hospital who helps him in retreving his memory and at the same time they are both chased by a assassin. So Robert Escapes the assassin by his knoweledge on the secret passages of Florence.
The story continues as they are both chased not only by an but also the government. Dan Brown completely brings the whole of italy into the story, As the story it has lots twists and turns in it as they make book more attractive and addictive.
The book also gets lot deeper into the history of inferno and Dante. The author has completely gone through a lot experiments on the title before writing the story, which I think is the secret behind the success of Dan Brown books.
But some of the cons according to me was the story felt more similar to the earlier Robert Langdon series, even though the beginning was different still something doesn't feel right. At the end author says that the the villain of the story is not completely which I accept but some of my friends who read this book didnot accept this.
According to me the book was freat but still i would prefer DIGITAL FORTRESS over INFERNO.
